The Peahen

McMullen & Sons Ltd  were delighted with the extensive refurbishment at The Peahen in St Albans. It was a fantastic building to work on and the results are stunning. The programme of works included both internal and external works and some of the works were completed whilst the pub remained trading.

The outside was decorated, the garden overhauled with new outside bar fittings, a gazebo installed, floorings and astro turf, lighting and a new archway. Outdoor lighting and lamps were also installed.

Internally major repair and refurbishment works were carried out including some drainage works. The bar was overhauled by fitting a new copper sheet to the top bar, fitting out the back bar, and adding new shelving, lighting and a coffee point. All the trade areas were decorated and wallpapered. The timber floors were refinished and new Altro flooring laid in the bar area.
