The Horseshoes

Our first project Red Oaks Taverns was the Horseshoes pub in Blunham near Bedford. We carried out a complete refurbishment both inside and out. This family friendly community pub was opened up inside by converting two bars into one open plan room with new décor, flooring, carpets, furniture, wood burning stove and upgraded bar. The new high bar seating and tables take advantage of what was an unused area.

Outside the large garden has been renovated and now includes a large patio area with lit pergola and lots of seating as well as a children’s climbing frame and equipment. The changeable weather won't affect the pub’s ability to serve their customers outside as we installed a great looking pergola with cedar strips under the polycarbonate roof, delivering both "the look" and the practicality of weatherproofing.
