The creation of a new mezzanine floor, office and testing bay.
Our brief for this work was to create a new office and testing bay area for electronic equipment for a growing IT company. We constructed a new mezzanine floor within their existing factory. The work involved specialist construction of fully insulated seven-meter-high walls which were formed to create the office space and new a doorway created to line up with the existing first floor offices. We installed new air conditioning, electric control access equipment and extensive electrical cable trunking. Due to the specialist nature of our client’s work we installed an ESD (Electric static discharge) strip laid in a grid pattern and fully earthed, prior to laying of the vinyl flooring covering to provide fully anti-static flooring.
