Andy is facing the "Jurassic Coast Challenge"
Our Managing Director and founder, Andy Teague, has been busy in his first year of captaincy at Millbrook Golf Club, organising several charity events for 2025/26, kicking off with the “Jurassic Coast Challenge” taking place on 17th & 18th May.
Over just two days, Andy and his mad bunch of friends are walking 58km of Devon’s spectacular world heritage coastline. The hike will certainly be challenging but extremely rewarding and we know Andy and Co will head into the challenge with an abundance of positivity. (Knowing that a cold pint will be waiting for them at the end will also help!!).
Millbrooks chosen charity this year is Cardiomyopathy UK. Cardiomyopathy is a heart muscle disease that can lead to sudden death syndrome in adults. This disease has affected Andy’s family and affects around 1 in 250 people in the UK. The invaluable research, treatment and support Cardiomyopathy UK can offer to those living with and managing the disease, means Andy’s wife Clare is still walking amongst us today.
