We have recently completed a refurbishment for the Kings Arms in Berkhamsted for Oakman Inns & Restaurants Ltd repurposing an existing underutilised space to create additional, socially distanced, dining space. With Covid-19 guidelines frequently changing across the UK’s regions, having the capacity to serve food to customers and maximise covers will help sustain many restaurant and pub businesses longer term. When the new lockdown is over, with limitations on the number of diners at one table, and the 10 pm curfew likely to still be in place, any hospitality business with space which is currently redundant, could quickly, and cost-effectively, turn it into a dining space to increase the number of bookings it can take safely.
