Bedfordshire Golf Club was established in 1891 but moved to its current site, in Stagsden, Bedford, at the start of the millennium. With a good level of income from members for its 18-hole championship course and the 9-hole academy course, the club was keen to reinvest in a bid to improve the overall member and guest experience. The club also has a clubhouse, with a first-floor bar and terrace offering views across the Bedfordshire countryside, a dining room with its own terrace and a function suite for up to 120 guests.
Following a surge in demand for golf club membership, largely as a result of the pandemic, the club were keen to ensure their facilities and offering were to a high standard to maintain their current membership, while appealing to future guests. Being local to CIC, Bedfordshire Golf Club had no hesitation in contacting them to undertake the renovations.
