A challenging but ultimately rewarding year
It’s been another 12 months living in the shadow of the pandemic, but we started 2021 off with a determined resolve and our business was underpinned by the strong connections forged with our customers.
As a consequence, I am delighted to report that CIC has enjoyed a prosperous year.
The range of work we have completed has spanned several sectors, from golf clubs and educational establishments to retail and hospitality. During the last month alone, amongst many other projects, we have completed the second phase of the refurbishment of The Woburn, operated by Oakman Inns, and finalised the refitting of several areas within Third Space luxury health club.
Our internal team has been strengthened with several new appointments this year, including the recruitment of two apprentices, and I would like to personally thank the entire CIC team for their dedication and hard work throughout 2021.
Finally, our work wouldn’t be possible without the support from every single company and sub-contractor who works with us to bring these refurbishment projects to fruition. Also, our customers, both long-standing and new, we appreciate every one of you and look forward to continuing and strengthening our partnerships in 2022.
While new variants and tougher restrictions may divert our course into 2022, I am confident that, as a team, we will continue on this journey of success and support our customers over the year ahead.
