Trade area refurbishment to bring popular hotel back full glory.
After completing phase 1 works, which allowed the site to reopen, we were invited back by Oakman Inns to undertake phase 2, which included the Tavistock Bar refurbishment and an extension to create an “open plan kitchen” format restaurant.
In the Tavistock Bar, after an extensive strip out, we installed a brand-new straight run bar, back bar, and server, decorated throughout, laid the new wooden parquet flooring and installed new lighting to transform this popular bar ahead of the Christmas rush.
The building of an extension to create an open kitchen format along with the total refurbishment of the dining and bar areas had its challenges, but working together with our client Oakman Inns & Restaurants Ltd team we've created a great destination venue.
The new extension for the kitchen entailed managing and working closely with the catering equipment suppliers to install all the new equipment along with a pizza oven, whilst overseeing the installation of the required extraction and air con systems.
