University Spaces Should Be Revitalised To Meet Changing Needs

Meeting both the social and emotional needs of students has never been more important. Faced with lockdowns, and the break from traditional exams, students entering university later this year will need a secure space that fulfils a multitude of needs.

Refreshing an existing universtity space, such as a bar or canteen to become a multi faceted space could open up a whole new offering for students. From daytime yoga studio to afternoon well-being sessions to evening functions, updating, and reconfiguring an existing space could provide a quick-win that is both profitable to the University and extremely beneficial to students. Here is the work we completed on The Medicine Bar at Royal Holloway University. We have also worked with other Universities such as Lincoln University and Hertfordshire University.
